Daily number of passenger trips on “BakuBus” routes-2026.

This dataset shows the daily number of passenger trips recorded on “BakuBus” routes operating in Baku. It provides the number of trips for each route by date. The data is based on validations recorded through the electronic payment equipment installed on buses, including “Bakı Kart” and other contactless payment methods.

The figures should not be understood as the number of unique passengers actually transported. Instead, they indicate the level of daily passenger flow on each bus route. The dataset does not include passengers’ boarding and alighting stops or provide information on complete trip chains.

The data can be used to analyse daily changes in passenger flows across bus routes and to compare passenger activity between different routes.

Technical issues, exceptional situations during data collection or processing, and other data quality factors may have a partial impact on the accuracy of the data. Data is updated once a month. Coverage area - Baku city. Data provider - “K Group” LLC (“Baku Kart”).
